Knowing that Hilary
Duff would be playing the part of Loraine Baker, I knew I just had to see
the movie as soon as humanly possible!
I went to the first showing of Cheaper by the Dozen on
December 25, 2003. It proved to be one of the best movies I’ve seen all year.
With Steve Martin as one of the lead characters, I knew the movie
would have to be really funny. I
was by no means disappointed. In
addition to really funny scenes, there where many heart felt moments as
well.
The one scene where
food was flying everywhere was very funny, but even funnier was when the
kids plot against their oldest sister’s new boyfriend (played by Ashton
Kutcher). Ashton Kutcher is
probably best known for playing the role of that “stupid brain-dead”
guy on That 70’s Show. In
this movie he becomes the guy that you really just love to hate!
After seeing the movie, I can see that he is perfect for Demi
Moore!
When the father
notifies the oldest daughter about something terrible that has happened,
we get to see what a big jerk the boyfriend (played by Ashton Kutcher) is!
The scenes right before “the big funeral,” where very touching.
I’m not going to tell you any details of the funeral, or the
touching scenes right before it, because I don’t want to spoil the movie
for those of you who haven’t seen it yet.
Well,
that wraps it up for me. Go
see the movie as soon as you can if you haven’t already.
If you don’t you would have really missed out on one of the best
movies of 2003! |
